Inflatable Boats and Pools Repair Patch Kit

These heavy duty patches are reinforced with 1300d base fabric, making them highly resistant to stretching or warping and available in a variety of colors and sizes so you can get your repair done right. This multi-purpose repair kit works well for most vinyl repairs, including above-ground pool liners, inflatable boats and kayaks, air mattresses, boat seats, canopies, and more.

First, clean all surfaces to be patched thoroughly using a vinyl surface cleaner. Cut the patch larger than the area to be patched, with rounded corners to prevent peeling. For light gauge vinyl and inflatable pools, apply the adhesive sparingly to the patch, covering it evenly all over. For heavy gauge vinyl and pool liners, apply the adhesive liberally to the patch, covering it evenly all over.

Out of the water, apply the patch to cover the damaged area, being sure to press out all air bubbles. If possible, apply weight to the patch and allow 24 hours to reach full bond strength. Under water, keep the patch folded onto itself over the area to be repaired, then unfold the patch and apply immediately. Carefully press out all air bubbles. If the damaged area is on a seam, add an additional bead of glue to the seam before applying the patch.

This vinyl repair kit from Pool Above includes two (2) trimmable heavy duty patches, each measuring 4 inches x 10 inches. Constructed of 1100 denier polyester canvas fabric - extrusion-coated on both sides with waterproof, air proof flexible colored plastic for color-match and superior adhesion.
